Quite a different Cabernet to its Barkala sibling, this Hyde Park demonstrates more presence, vibe and lift. A wine with an impressive, rounded and poised shape, this was drinking beautifully over three days of tasting.
Blackberries, black olives and tomato bush pique my attention early with some choc mint, barbecue smoke and soft spices sliding in underneath. Softish tannins reach long and fold into a great length that offers contemplation and a moreish appeal. It's a wine that you could get very comfortable with. Well played.
