A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (70/30), this Nautilus Cuvée Brut NV is an easy recommendation for those seeking an approachable bottle of fizz.
It spends 3 years on lees to build complexity and that is delivered in the form of those little toasts you get at the deli, wafer biscuits and a creamy undertow. Slivers of almonds slide in too. Lemon zest and green apples perch themselves on top and are bordered by a bright acidity that cleanses the palate. A respectable finish caps it off. Good stuff.
