So very Pinot, this is my first look at one from Renzaglia and I like what I see.
Sourced from the Patina vineyard in Orange (although labelled Central Ranges), there is a gracious humility, not to mention approachability, about its carry.
Juicy red fruits and plums complement the savoury drive headed by dried twigs, crushed leaves, shimmers of dark chocolate and a hint of that crushed ant trait. Its silky feels elevate its approachability with fine spices tensing up on close. It's a wine you could snuggle up to after a long day, or conversely, order it off a list at a trendy wine bar and scoff down some of those tasty little plates off the menu and be equally appeased. You choose, but you still win either way.
