Big love this St Aidan Cabernet from Western Australia's Geographe region. It's such a fabulous expression.
Juicy blackberries and blackcurrants set the scene with dark chocolate and mint patties, a flick of menthol and a minerally vibe that is a regional trait. There is a neat oak presence that does enough to be seen without overtaking the fruit. Dried herbs and shimmers of spice coil around the mouth on a lengthy finish that has a skip in its step. Drinking wonderfully now, this will age well too. Great stuff!
