The oak (20 months in a mix of new and seasoned) plays a neat supportive role without stealing the limelight, yet there is a delightful cedar and mocha impact. One thing that can't be denied is the drinkability these Hayes Family Wines deliver without compromising on quality or sophistication. This is an easy recommendation.
