A Clare Valley Riesling which will raise a few eyebrows. Picked later and spending 48 hours on skins, a bit of boundary pushing here done well.
This may not float everyone's boat, but it's highly likeable. Swirl and sip and it appears to have something new around every corner.
Tropical fruits and skinsy feels deliver some head turning material. Green mango, pineapple husk and citrus goodness. Even a hint of mandarin peel and a splash of Buderim ginger cordial. The mouth is awash with textural goodness but it's not heavy nor burdening. Green tea like tannins to finish, a great wine to share and discuss.
Drink now to five years.
