Primitivo and Montepulciano come together delivering a pretty and uplifting wine.
Captivating purple and dried red petal florals surge early and get you in the mood. These two varieties have the ability to get out of control but the blend has tempered them to deliver a wine of intrigue, depth and fine spice. Generous through the mouth, some oak peers through but the length and persistent drive keep me enthused and coming back for me. Clever stuff.
