I like this Chardonnay from NSW's Orange region by little-known producer Lemon Villa. The wines are made by Duncan Cook. No image supplied.
A no nonsense type, it's a really good take on the variety. Cashews, brioche, green melon, and lemon juice all add pleasure. It's nicely weighted with enough consideration given to its presence, balance and acidity. A subtle textural drive keeps you coming back for more. Good stuff.
