Quilty and Gransden Shiraz 2018

I've said it before, it's always great to see new wines make it to the Qwine tasting bench. These Quilty & Gransden are part of the Cumulus Wines stable out of Orange. Eye-catching labels with cheeky confidence stated on the back, "We think it's quite good, we hope you do too." Well, this is crazy good Shiraz for 15 bucks!

Dive in here. It presents well with great shelf appeal and tastes just as classy.
It opens with scents of meatiness, char, and that cool-climate white pepper. Red fruits and red plums have impressive energy with a faint lick of orange rind for good measure. All up, it is a wine that just glistens and feels good. Delicate fine spices glide through the mouth with a rub of tannin to close. Good gear. Top value. Find it.

Drink to five years.
