Five years young, you get the sense it's still busting a move more than Young MC. Time in the glass takes then hold, and oh gee, this is a delicious wine.
This is all mint, oregano, black olive and almond biscotti aromas - quite a captivating introduction I must say. Some old leather scents slide in too. Through the mouth its all black earth, black tea, sage and those primary roasted peppers. A distinct mintiness lays low but there's enough to be seen. Hand picked and blended from the best barrels, blackcurrants and black fruits have volume but are not overdone. The fruit lands on the dance floor and refuses to leave. Lusciously long, delicate spices offer a parting caress on a finish that seems never ending. A clever Cabernet and one which has years in its veins.
