Hayes Family Wines Show Reserve Batch No. 1 Rare Tawny

Winter screams for a fabulous tawny. That night cap is always a cheeky reward best served with a dressing gown on and slippers ready to kick off. It's even better if you can sip it slow in front of a fire. Warm your insides with this absolutely delicious tawny sure to hit the spot. 

Produced and bottled in September 2019, this is luscious in the glass. With legs for days, it's easy to list everything that slowly unfurls as it lands at your feet urging you to reach out for an embrace.

Think ranchio, a nutty drive, dried apricots and soft sultanas. Christmas cake appeal oozes with fine brown spices seemingly carefully scattered about. Delicate and supple, there's a gravitating warmth. The word soulful comes to mind as it reaches for the heart and pulls you in. One sip and the length refuses to move lasting well over a minute. Perhaps one serving isn't enough. Excellent!
