A well made Grenache. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine from Thistledown.
The details are slightly confusing admittedly though. The label says McLaren Vale but the website needs updating stating the fruit came from various Barossa sites. Let's go with the former on this occasion.
Some eye catching depth soothes the soul yet the fruit bounds along on its toes. Blue and red fruits are partnered by fine spices coating every crevice of the mouth. A touch of dried herb and red licorice on close before the spices swarm and sit long. A lovely drink.
