There's a ribbon of blue fruit which cruises through the core of this wine - delish! A great little Shiraz from Blue Pyrenees.
The fruit is juicy and forward. Some blackberries and dark chocolate jostle for attention but its those blue fruits which keep me in the hunt. A menthol/eucalypt character simmers along with the fruit parcel being neatly wrapped up by fine spices which just hang. It's comes across quite polished, but regardless, it's a tasty wine now and one which will benefit from some bottle age too. Great stuff!
