Pinot Noir from Marlborough. Nothing overly interesting, but just a good, simple drink.
A quick note after tasting a glass off a function list.
Dark cherries and dusty tannins do all the work. A flash of pan juices, a little texture with everything wrapped in fine spices. It goes ok.
Drink to five years.
