Mount Pleasant Rosehill Shiraz 2021

Sexy and lacy, the brilliance of Mount Pleasant is delivered on a platter with the excellent Rosehill 2021 release.

Seeing 20% new French oak for nine months, what's not to love about its adorable curves?

Pretty scents of petals and red berries, red cherry fruit sizzles through the mouth. It zeroes in with some focus and intent on the mid-palate. Fine sheets of red earth purr and are framed by delicate spices. Soft and elegant on a long finish, this is a wine that just grows on you. Its energy was bursting out of the blocks but it calmed on day two of tasting. Give it a little decant for now or a few years tucked away and you'll be rewarded handsomely. Bravo!
