Another Soumah across the tasting bench and another great wine. The consistency across the range is impressive and each price point is covered in style. Soft with sophistication, this is a delicious Yarra Valley Syrah.
Driven by dark fruit and pan juices, there is some volume through the mouth yet the power is restrained. Scents of purple flowers, some char and fine spices, there is a focus of flavour in the mid-palate. It's long and oh so pleasurable, I wouldn't balk at grabbing a bottle and polishing off a couple of glasses. Great stuff.
