A glorious Shiraz that slides down with ease. A wine etched with detail, sit back and get comfortable.
Veneers of interest peel off the longer it sits. Dark chocolate and cloves skip out of the blocks with black earth, dried herbs, caramel and some choc brownie in hot pursuit. There is a silky detail here without a heap of weight either. Medium bodied, baking spices and fine pepper add pleasure factor as do hazelnuts and pastry crust. Long with a comforting warmth (in a good way), it's the kind of wine that makes you feel that 'ah' moment. I could sip this all night.
