Mountadam Five Fifty Shiraz 2019

 

This is a fair function style red. Nothing flash, just an easy drinking Shiraz. 

It suits the scene - finger food and relaxed company trying to appease a range of tastes. Sweet oak really stands out mind you. Dark chocolate and caramel bowl along with some brown spices to finish. It goes okay.

Drink to five years.
