A ripping example of Pinot Grigio, this release from Mudgee's First Ridge is right in the slot. Bright, fresh and crisp, go here.
I'm captivated from the outset with the slight bronze hue getting my attention. Cut pear, a little canned pear texture, crunchy green apples and juicy lemony drive roll out the joy factors. Add some dried sage and lemon zest for good measure, and it's a wine that should be poured generously on sun-shining days or it can suit up and be more sophisticated beside seafood and chicken dishes. Great stuff.
