A bigger and more robust style than the 2022, this Purple Hands Barossa Shiraz is much drier than its predecessor.
Seeing 20 months in French oak, it's a generous wine that draws all moisture from the mouth. Mulberries and boysenberries make the first entry bringing a brightness but then it gets down to business. Closer to the full-bodied frame which is a skip up from the 2022, layers of earthiness, black pepper and fruit bun spices make themselves known. The mid-palate is coated with a fair density of falour, and along with its appealing length, this will find its legion of fans.
