Purple Hands Shiraz 2022

Smack bang in classic Barossa Shiraz territory, this Purple Hands is a great drink and it's one that reliably produces the goods year after year.

Dark plummy fruit, blueberries and mulberries, baked raspberries, dark chocolate and a touch of star anise, it is loaded with interest. Medium to full-bodied, ripples of earthy things, a dash of pepper and baking spices muse and run the length of the straight. The only issue is they don't know where the finish line is and they go on and on and on - big love for that persistent finish. It's a wine I'd happily recommend. Tick, tick, tick.
