A generous and ripe Shiraz Grenache from Cape Barren, this McLaren Vale blend calls for a cool night in or a weekend by the campfire.
It gets in deep dark plums and dark berries. Dark chocolate kicks along in the background with baked raspberries lobbing up late ensuring the Grenache component can be seen. Soft in delivery, it slowly draws moisture from the mouth on close with a fine sprinkle of baking spices and white pepper leaving some silty tannins to consider. Hurling it into your glass at your next barbecue wouldn't be a bad idea either.
