Flush with aromas that are vibrant and alive, this is a most inviting Tempranillo from Mudgee's Vinifera.
From a certified organic vineyard, 15% whole bunches were used and it saw seasoned American oak for nine months. Blueberries, mulberries and cherry cola spill from the glass. Silky feels slide through early as it builds a delicious momentum through the mouth. Sour cherries, passata, dried basil and thyme muse to deliver a wine that gradually dries out delivering a lip-smacking moreishness. Some game meats rise up late with a little sprinkle of peppery and chorizo spices riding out to a long finish leaving fine grippy brick dust like tannins to consider. It's a very enjoyable Tempranillo.
