Blackberries and blackcurrants surge. They run deep with a silky dark chocolate presence. Cloves and black olives rise up with time in the glass. Coffee grounds, cedar and coconut husk muse with licks of vanilla and a smattering of dried herbs. Time in American oak shows its influence but it plays very much a supporting role. If you like them with some heft, this is for you.
