The Flying Winemaker sources fruit from various regions across Australia and internationally. This is an easy-going Margaret River Cabernet from The Flying Winemaker at a competitive price point.
This Cabernet opens with plentiful aromas of blackcurrants, blackberry paste and purple flowers. The mid-palate thins out a touch although roasted peppers and dark plums are prominent. Green herbs and leafy things speak of the variety. Dry, dusty cocoa tannins sap moisture from the mouth leaving a tacky, puckering dryness. It goes ok.
Drink to five years.
