With acidity that is tightly coiled and not dissimilar to a pull-back toy car, this Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge is a long and moreish Riesling that will age gracefully.
From vines that are more than 45 years old, pie apple, apple sours and pears offer a welcoming introduction, but the tight and tense feels are never far from the action. Little white flowers add some prettiness with a surge of lime cordial rippling through the mid-palate and a chalky dryness whipping up the tail. That persistent finish delivers a moreishness, but gee, I'd like to see this in a few years time with some bottle age.
