Peppered steak, red currants and red berries launch at you. An array of spices curl around the mouth encasing red and dark plummy fruit. Red berries continue to unfurl and hold themselves well. A respectable length with a tense finish and a firm acidity. A meatiness highlighted by salami has the last say. A wine that will win its fair share of friends at this price point, it's nicely done.
