This bunch of new releases from Mount Langi Ghiran are a really tidy set and this Cliff Edge Chardonnay is a beauty for the asking price. It gets in deep and runs long - delicious!
Scents of sourdough and wholemeal bread throw themselves at you with a Portuguese tart cameo. Yellow grapefruit, cut green apple, flirtatious white fleshed stonefruit and freshly squeezed lemon all add favourably to the detail. Some time in new and used French oak brings vanilla and a lick of Werther's original - that sexy tease of caramel. Yes! Long with a seemingly endless drive, the pitter-patter of fine spice completes a rock-solid Chardonnay. Great gear indeed.
