Soft and silky, this Oxford Landing One to One Merlot is an easy going drink. Golden hour at the camp site or a pizza wine, it's a bit of an allrounder that ticks the box.
In celebration of Earth Day on 22 April, Oxford Landing will increase the amount of bushland planted with every bottle of One to One wine sold throughout the month.
Through a partnership with Greenfleet, every six bottles of One to One enjoyed will see another square metre of bushland planted in the ‘One to One Bushland’. The ‘One to One Bushland’ is located in the On Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Central Victoria, where Greenfleet is restoring the native ecosystem at Ngulambarra, meaning “meeting place” in Djaara language. This project is playing an important role in restoring endangered temperate woodlands and enhancing biodiversity, while also supporting the values of Traditional Owners.
The fruit is sustainably grown and made with minimal intervention. Vegan friendly and low in preservatives, the bottle is also made up of 98% recycled lightweight glass.
Dark plums, blackcurrants, cigar box and tilled earth. The fruit is forward and supported well by savoury nuances in the shape of tomato bush and dried herbs. Fine spices push long on a respectable finish. It's nicely done.
Drink to three years.
