Meaty, dark fruits, mulberries and some char. A good dash of spice too to keep you on your toes. Time in the glass gives purple florals a chance to step up and be counted - nice.
The fruit has good presence and there's a savoury drive through the mouth moving at an even tempo finishing long. One of those wines I'd happily recommend time and time again.
Drink now to eight years.
