Mr Red - a blend of Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Shiraz and Cabernet from the Hunter Valley.
A bit smokey, pepperoni, dark fruits and some leafiness courtesy of the Cabernet I suspect. Cocoa and dark fruit chugs away at a steady pace with a spice tickle to finish. Not overly deep nor complex but the easy drinking factor is there.
Drink now to five years.
