David Hook is based in the Hunter Valley. This Barbera is sourced from Orange, four and a half hours further west.
An enjoyable drop with bright red cherry fruit straight up. Crunchy acidity exhibiting red apple and lemon like traits. On the lighter side of medium bodied, a shake of spice lingers with a lick of cedar.
Good drinking and handy for pizza and pasta.
