It's hard not to be impressed by the quality coming out of Orange at the moment. Here's a solid Chardonnay for around $20. Good value ticking all the boxes.
All the varietal characters you'd expect are here - citrus, white peach and grapefruit driving through nicely. Fermented in stainless steel with the pressings fermented in oak, there's a neat textural and creamy push from the latter.
An honest, fresh Chardonnay at a good price - win win.
Drink now to five years.
