A delicious wine and a great example of why wines shouldn't be consumed too cold. Layers of personality and interest come in waves here.
Whole bunch pressed and fermented in old oak. Nine months on lees and bottled without fining or filtration.
Almond meal, grapefruit and lemon juice spring to mind immediately. Some honeyed tones are built into the frame. There's something lurking in the mix which I can only describe as praline. A creamy pulse beats consistently throughout with a waxy finish coating the mouth. The finish is long, textural and certainly pleasurable. Lots to love here.
Drink now to ten years.
