A great little blend seeking a creamy pasta dish or a roast bird to salute the judge.
This is barrel fermented 80/20 blend which saw French oak for ten months, 25% of which was new. Creamy with almonds and touches of oats, honeysuckle and yellow flower aromas keep things interesting early. Canned apricot nectar and some baked apple add further appeal. Licks of spiced fruit and cinnamon spice lap at your feet to close leaving an enjoyable hum. Good stuff.
