Vinomofo Homeless Grapes Project McLaren Vale Shiraz 2018

A wine bringing a community together to aid those in need. It's a wine for good and then some. Every cent raised will be donated to the Hutt Street Centre who assist Adelaide's homeless by offering support, solutions and hope.

The purchase of a six-pack provides a home starter pack for a couple moving from the street to a home with hot breakfasts and lunch for a week - basics many of us take for granted.

None of this could have been possible if it wasn't for the generosity of growers, pickers, winemakers, bottlers, plus donations of bottles, caps, labels, illustrations, boxes - you name it. Everything has been donated in to make this project a success.

The fruit was generously grown and donated by Inkwell Wines and made at Penny's Hill by Alexia Roberts.

From the outset, you get a sense that what's in the bottle is what you'd find at the Hutt Street Centre, that is, a warming embrace. Aromas of choc coated raspberries, kicks of earth and a smattering of dried herbs all mesh together delivering a wine of substance and easy drinking appeal.

A steady delivery of soft red berries flood the mouth with fine spices lapping at your feet on a long and persistent finish. Ideal for those lazy nights in. And as I say that, it's the warmth and comfort on these lazy nights that many on the streets crave. Wine for good indeed.

Drink now to five years.
