Flametree's entry-level Chardonnay and it's a rock-solid wine. I would happily have a couple of glasses. Gee, we are blessed with quality at this price point in Australia.
It just smells and tastes so good. Concentrated yet not clubbing you over the head, white-fleshed stone fruit, match sticks, a dab of caramel with a soft and enticing grapefruit drive. Subtle hints of cashew rise up late in the piece too. All the classic components of a great Chardonnay lie within. More please.
Drink now to six years.
