A great little wine sourced from 41-year-old vines in Mudgee, NSW, this Shiraz saw 15 months of one, two and three-year-old French and American oak.
Rich and generous from the get-go, think fruit cake, red and dark plums, red meat and char. Still a little firm in the mouth despite being four years old, exotic spices rattle home with a lingering black pepper finish. Be assured it will age nicely, if you can hold off that is.
