Not short on detail, black cherries, blueberries, blackcurrants and blackberry pastilles skip out of the block. Sheets of exotic and meat rub spices muse with the expected Hunter Valley earthiness. As it opens, it shows milk chocolate and a hint of caramel latte. An elongated finish is sprinkled with those fine spices that tickle your interest bone and persuade you to return for more. A very clever debut.
