Only available at the cellar door, this Redman Wines The Last Row Shiraz comes off 90+ year old vines. Vibrant hues catch the eye and immediately I'm hooked.
Wild yeast fermented, it sees 25% new French oak for 18 months. It's a wine that offers plenty of detail to sift through. Spiced blackberries, mulberries, cloves and a little charcoal are the main players and mingle with ease. A wine of great width and length, it is earthy with dusty feels. Dark chocolate and the suggestion of camphor come late along with a ribbon of fine spices. The longer it sat the more it revealed. Lovely drinking.
