Another excellent medium-bodied delight from Mount Pleasant, this Rosehill Shiraz lands in the pleasure zone with supreme ease.
After a few days of tasting, the tension and focus highlight its ageing potential. A blend of the two Rosehill plantings (1946 & 1965), dark cherries and red cherries are partnered by blueberries and boysenberries. Medium-bodied as you'd expect, dark chocolate dust, a little cola and a delightful savoury drive with a host of dried herbs bring the splendour. Powdery tannins surge and shine on a fabulously lengthy finish. All class.
