An expressive and sizzling take on modern Chardonnay, this Crittenden Zumma is ace. Layered and walking with gracious humility, I could get very comfortable here.
Lemon juice, white fleshed nectarines, fine beads of grapefruit juice leave a glorious tang. There is a even quick flash of pineapple. Grilled cashews, almond praline and a delicate creaminess drive long with a hint of vanillin adding to the detail. It's a beautiful wine and one I'd be happy to sip slow as the sun falls from the sky. And perhaps I did just that. I would enthusiastically recommend this Chardonnay.
Drink to eight years.
