Don't be put off by the fact that it doesn't present in a traditional Riesling bottle, this Tamburlaine Organic Reserve Riesling is an absolute cracker!
There is a delightful even handedness and delicate feel about its presence. Lemons and limes fold over one another with ease saturating the mid-palate with plenty of flavour. Lily flowers and Jasmine flowers offer a pleasant perfume but the tension takes hold and has me captivated. With a minerally undertow, well-handled acidity brings the mouth the water leaving a citrusy tang pulsing through to a sustained finish. Drink by the sea washing down some tempura battered prawns for the win.
