Succumbing to pressure from his partner, winemaker Wes Pearson made a Rosé for her summer drinking. True love.
From the Lacey vineyard, the fruit was handpicked by the Lacey and Pearson families. Weighing in at 1200kg, 500L was pressed off to seasoned French oak.
A darker shade of Rosé, think of a cranberry juice appearance. Red apple peel, watermelon rind, white bit of the strawberry, orange peel and tangelo deliver a bone-dry and food-oriented wine. A bright, lemony acidity echos some lemon granita vibes. Good stuff.
