For what it is, this is a tidy Shiraz.
Although it doesn't have as much depth as you'd expect with a 'normal' Shiraz, the push with this line of wines is the lower alcohol content and lower calories.
Red plums, dried red flowers and a fair smattering of berry fruit. There is some dark chocolate too. The respectable tannin structure is worth highlighting, but I suspect these would have been an addition in the winery. All things considered, they work well with the fruit. In all, for a lower alcohol red wine, it's well done.
