Oh, this hits the spot. It's smooth, luscious, creates conversation and surges to a seemingly never-ending finish. A ripping Shiraz.
Labelled as a 'Limited Release', I always find such marketing lines curious. What is limited and where do we draw the line? For the record, I've got bottle 3979 in my hand. There seems plenty to go around...
Park that thought and park your backside beside a glass and give this a swirl. Woodsy spices and even a little Caramello Koala factor get my attention early. Szechuan spices tickle the mouth before dark plums and dark fruits nestle in and cruise all the way. It's hard to not be enthused by its shape and feel. Some tension speaks to a long future ahead. The challenge, for now, is trying to escape that seemingly never-ending finish. A clever Shiraz this.
