This evolved over a couple of days of tasting and it developed some terrific momentum in the glass. It's the type of wine to recline with as you embrace every drop. Take a whiff - it's oaky, flinty and peachy. Add some match sticks and gun smoke too. Layers of interest peel off with ease through the mouth. Think nougat, roasted almonds, butternut biscuits and oatmeal. That density and generosity has me fixated and keeps me going back for more. Long and luscious to close, this is an impressive Chardonnay.
