This is a belated (brief) note from a tasting at the Coonawarra Roadshow event.
Lemons and limes are energetic from the get-go. Something that I always find curious about these Blok Rieslings is that they start to show aging characteristics much earlier than many other producers. Although only three years young, it is already starting to turn and showing some kerosene - that classic aged Riesling trait. Quite glossy and flavoursome, a thread of lemon zest and soft texture rolls throughout. It's a damn fine drink for the money.Drink to ten years+
