The only red in the new Yalumba GEN Organic and sustainable range but I suspect that may not be the case in the years to come. A Shiraz that ticks the boxes, in my opinion, this is the best of the five on offer.
Juicy and vibrant fruit is matched with some dark chocolate, a shimmer of baking spices and black pepper. There is enough hang time in the mid-palate to warrant respect and the length is sustained for longer than anticipated. Yep, tick, tick, tick. Nicely done.
Drink now to three years.
