Margaret River Chardonnay is awesome when done well and here we have another example. Interest awaits around every corner. This is an excellent wine.
Fruit, acid, oak - it's all balanced beautifully. Caramalised peach, white fleshed nectarines, and a wave of lemon juice set the scene. Creamy vanilla, butterscotch and creme brulee keep the rhythm - it's just luscious and moreish. Some wafers, raw cashews and a little biscuity touch reach long. This is superb only to be capped off by some sizzling grapefruit acidity. Yes!
